GW4 outdoor disconnenting switch is AC 50Hz outdoor HV equiments, there are 40.5kV, 72.5kV, 126kV and 252kV rated voltage grade for it, it can open and close the high voltage circuit under no-load conditions and perform the electric isolation of tested high voltage bus, circuit breaker, charged high-voltage circuit, etc., it also can make and break the small capacitance or inductive current.

Structure defnation

The disconnecting switch consists of base, insulating post, conductive part and operating mechanism. Each pole has two posts, and at the top of post, there are two conductive blades, the contact of two blades contacts are in the middle of two posts; and at the bottom of post, there are bearing sheathes; by the auction of operating mechanism, the blade is able to rotate 90". so as to meet the opening and closing requirements.

The disconnecting switch is of single-pole type, however, it can be formed into the interlinked three-pole type through connecting the three poles with the connection rod. It is equipped with CS11 type or CS17 type manual operation mechanism, hereinto, CS17 is used for the disconnecting switch with earthing device. In addition, CJ16 motor mechanism may be equipped according to the needs.

On the basis of the abovementioned structure instruction, it is easy to see that the disconnecting switch has reasonable structure and ?exible operation,   the single-pole type or three-pole type is used in available; it is featured with convenient installation, large clearance of open contact blades and reliable insulation. According to customers' needs, it may be provided with the single-side earthing mode or double earthing mode.
